I stopped saving session notes to a hosted database. Each save was spending an API call and a slice of the session, and the notes are for me. They go in a local vault now. A skill saves one when I ask, and a watcher saves one after a session is compacted, because that is when the conversation is about to forget itself.
The morning briefing got a fixed section order, with checkboxes, so I am not re-deciding the shape every day.
I also added skills for writing a task, for logging the planning note, and for time. The planning skill is why these notes exist in a form I can go back to. The code review skill got a rule that it has to look at the files, not only the summary.
What is still open is that the task skills still talk to the task system the expensive way. The short command-line tool comes the next week.
