I wrapped the task tool as a skill, and pointed the task skills and the morning briefing at it. The old path stays as a fallback, because I did not want a morning with no tasks if the new path failed.
I also built the weekly report skill. It pulls the week's reviews, the planning notes, the vault, and chat, and it tries to match the work to a task so the hours are not a guess. I ran it once on the first days of February and deployed it.
The report is only as honest as the sources. If a source is thin, the section is thin. I would rather that than a filled-in week.
